Rewriting the Story of Recovery
Guiding individuals and organizations beyond survival—into lives of authenticity, resilience, and purpose.
Meet the Founder
C-IAYT Yoga Therapist | Certified Health Coach | Recovery Coach
From Struggle to Purpose
Rita Angeloni has lived the pain of addiction—and the freedom of moving beyond it. Her struggle with alcohol was one of the most difficult seasons of her life, yet it became the doorway to something greater: the chance to step fully into her purpose.
Through yoga, she not only reclaimed her health and self-worth, but also found an anchor—one that brought her home to vitality, self-acceptance, and authenticity. That transformation showed her that recovery can be more than surviving. It can be a path to flourishing, purpose, and joy. Today, that experience fuels her work as a Yoga Therapist, Recovery Coach, and educator—guiding individuals and organizations toward transformation, resilience, and the kind of wholeness that makes life deeply meaningful.
Professional Expertise
With more than a decade of professional experience, Rita supports individuals and organizations in addiction recovery, trauma healing, and whole-person transformation. Her work integrates evidence-informed tools from yoga therapy—including movement, breathwork, mindfulness, and nervous system regulation—with a unique coaching process that fosters alignment with one’s passions, values, and true nature.
Rita is known for creating safe, compassionate spaces that honor each person’s capacity to grow. Her approach emphasizes self-responsibility, mindset resilience, and personal empowerment, helping clients move beyond survival into lives filled with clarity, balance, and fulfillment.
Over the course of her career, Rita has studied with many of the foremost voices in trauma and addiction recovery, including:
Dr. Peter Levine (Somatic Experiencing)
Dr. Bessel van der Kolk (Trauma Research & Neurobiology)
Dr. Gabor Maté (Addiction & Compassionate Inquiry)
Dr. Arielle Schwartz (Applied Polyvagal Theory)
Nikki Myers (Yoga of 12-Step Recovery)
Tommy Rosen (Recovery 2.0)
Durga Leela (Yoga of Recovery)
Their influence, combined with Rita’s extensive training in yoga therapy for addiction recovery, forms the backbone of her integrative method—one that honors the full human system: body, energy, mind, intuition, and spirit.
Her Method
Rita’s coaching and therapeutic approach is rooted in the belief that healing is possible for everyone—and that true recovery begins when we rewrite the story we believe about ourselves. Drawing from yoga philosophy, The Work of Byron Katie, and her lived experience of recovery, she guides clients to transform limiting narratives into empowering truths.
At the heart of her work is The VibrantLife™ Method —a structured, evidence-informed framework based on the Panchamaya Kosha model of yoga philosophy. This time-tested approach recognizes five interconnected layers of the human system: body, energy, mind, intuition, and spirit. By restoring balance across these layers, clients experience not just relief from symptoms, but a deep sense of wholeness and alignment.
Through this process, Rita helps clients:
Reconnect with their inner purpose and passions
Clear limiting beliefs and habitual patterns
Restore nervous system balance
Develop daily practices that support recovery and self-regulation
Make empowered, values-aligned decisions
This integrative model goes beyond stopping harmful behaviors—it empowers people to thrive, live authentically, and walk through the world with clarity, resilience, and joy.
